EDUCATED CANINES ASSISTING WITH DISABILITIES
Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities (ECAD) has a special mission – to educate and place service dogs with people with disabilities to help them lead lives with more independence and mobility. With such a fantastic mission, they are transforming the lives of people with all kinds of disabilities, including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Sleep Apnea, Cerebral Palsy, spinal cord injuries, PTSD, and so much more.
Their Core Programs provide help to specific groups of people. Open Doors provides service dogs and facility dogs for people with disabilities. The Canine Magic Program is unique because it provides specially educated service dogs to assist children with autism. Project HEAL was formed to help veteran’s in need who have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Traumatic Brain Injury.
